Meet the Doctor

Dr. Graves was born and raised in coastal Maine near Acadia National Park. Upon graduating from Chiropractic college he returned to Maine and opened a successful practice which he ran for 21 years. In 2006 he visited Pinehurst for the first time and fell in love with the area and eventually purchased a vacation home which was located on Pinehurst #5. After vacationing in Pinehurst for over 15 years he and his family decided to move there permanently in the fall of 2021. After stepping away from his profession for a year he realized how much he missed helping people with their health issues so he decided to open a small Chiropractic/Functional medicine clinic, Pinehurst Alternative Medicine, to continue his passion for helping people. Helping people by focusing on 'why' they have a problem and not  'what' they have (symptoms) is the philosophy at Pinehurst Alternative Medicine. We look forward to helping patients achieve their best life possible. 

In his spare time, you will find Dr. Graves golfing, cycling, studying, and hanging out with his wife Justine, daughter Evelyn, and his two dogs Hugo and Harper.
